Frey vom Sűdhang

Call name Jack

Imported from Germany by Wayne Creager from Reinhard Gőrgens of Gummersbach Germany.  His sister was tested in the NAVHDA  Natural Ability and received an score of 110.  Jack is a wonderful example of what a German Wirehaired Pointer should possess as far as hunting ability and loyalty to his hunting companion.  His temperament is beyond compare.  He does well with children as well as adults recognizing both as authority over him.  He loves waterwork and has a high desire to please.  He quarters well and is an excellent pointer / retriever.

Summary:  Mick's versatile qualities that we believe exceed the breed standard are his nose, temperament and stamina.  He hunts with his head high using the wind to his best advantage.

Test summary:  Mick tested a 71  in the VJP scoring very high in track, nose, search, point and cooperation.  He also was tested in the HZP with very good scores in nose, pointing, search, cooperation, desire, and retrieve.

 

Meik II vom Richthof

Imported from Germany by from Hugo Bremauer of the Richthof kennel.  Call name Mick.  Mick is an extremely athletic German Wirehaired Pointer.  He enjoys working hard for his hunting companion.  He has an excellent nose, with a classic, beautiful point.  Originally from Germany, he is a wonderful example of the consistency that the Germans have achieved in the Drahthaar.  He enjoys hunting upland game, waterfowl and furred game.  Mick has a sleek, full-body, dense coat with a beard.  He has a wonderful desire to please and hunt.  He has a great temperament and enjoys being around children as well as adults.  He is a natural retriever, pointer and swimmer.  He was also tested in the VDD (Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar).

South Paw Lotus

Retired

Call name Cole.  Cole is a great hunting companion and fits right in with our family.  He is fun loving and well-mannered.  Cole loves to hunt upland game birds and is an excellent pointer.  He scored highest possible points (112) and received a prize I at his NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) natural ability test.  Cole loves to be in the water whether he is just playing or retrieving game.  He has such a unique personality and is a wonderful friendly dog.
